our first lunch year was delicious and the weight staff was super friendly and attentive. We came back for cocktails by the Koi Pond and enjoyed ourselves immensely.

We decided to have a nice dinner at the Nanea the last night on the island. We were going to do the pre fixe meal, which looked appetizing, but there were other tasty options offered on the menu that I went for instead. My husband had the Beef Tenderloin pre fixe with a Cesar salad and cream Brûlée. The salad came right away, looking a bit over dressed with soggy lettuce leaves, and croutons. The steak was fabulous, however, beautifully plated with the local purple mash and lovely carrots sitting on a pool of silky brown gravy. The steak was cooked to perfection and the mash and carrots a perfect accompaniment. I had the coconut shrimp and lettuce wraps for dinner and loved what I ate. The shrimp was crunchy and tender on the inside. The wraps were loaded with very tender, teriyaki beef strips and a spicy pineapple salsa. It was all sitting on a fresh lettuce leaf and super refreshing to eat. The meal was great and our server very attentive. The view couldn't be better of the pool and Pacific in the distance. They also have nightly entertainment here, so we were serenaded by a local musician which made it all the more special.

My wife and I had a great dinner at Nanea last night. Started with 2 Perfect Rye Manhattans. She had the Hawaiian Papaya Greens with nicely grilled Ono. I had grilled Kanpachi served over pasta with a light lemon sauce and nicely sautéed vegetables. Both were perfectly cooked. Our waiter (Richard) was outstanding,answering all our questions and providing great recommendations including selecting a great Oregon Chardonnay to accompany our entrees.

Before heading from CA to Kauai a friend mentioned how she still dreams of the Poke nachos from Nanea. Yup, that was our first meal. It did not disappoint and it was nice to have an immediate food destination

Walked over to Westin's Nanea Restaurant a couple of weeks ago for an early dinner. First off, if you are looking to really get in to vacay mode, skip the mai tai and hit the Thai Chi!! Holy vacation mode...this will definitely get you there QUICK!! Service is always friendly, just understaffed like most of Kauai. So order your cocktail and settle in for a chill experience. If you are in a hurry (why?!) then, let your waitstaff know up front. Not saying this will help, but at least they will know why your vibe is fired up. ‍ Today we started with the lettuce wraps. An absolutely MUST!! Then I had the Hawaiian Plate ( i was craving this!!) and my daughter ordered the seafood curry (first time trying). Hawaiian plate was on point!! And that seafood curry is so ono... OMG so happy we had leftovers!! Usually i would get their signature ube cheesecake, but today i had the ube colada. Beautiful and delish!! In short, wonderful food...slow down and enjoy people watching with really strong drinks!!

stayed in princeville and came here for a nice sit down restaurant for dinner, we sat outdoors and you have a view of the resort pool the service was not bad, and the food was actually pretty good, which was a pleasant surprise, i got the catch of the day (grilled mahi mahi) and some ube cheesecake, the only thing i will say about the food is that the portion was pretty small for the price, wish they gave more but i definitely recommend if you're staying in princeville!

This restaurant is located in the Westin Hotel on the lower level adjacent to the pool. Food and service were consistently great on our multiple dining experiences. The staff is hardworking and friendly. Our food and cocktails were consistently excellent. We enjoyed the live music in the evenings and hanging out at the bar and meeting new friends.

Not being open for breakfast is a bummer, but dinner options were pretty good! LOCATION & DECOR: Only restaurant at the Westin timeshare. Resort like decor for a nicer restaurant where you can still feel comfortable wearing shorts to dinner. FOOD & DRINK: Fish n chips and a pulled pork burger is what I remember. Alcoholic beverages and fountain drinks to choose from. SWAG/AMENITIES: -Outdoor patio seating. -table service STAFF & EXPERIENCE: Staff was welcoming. No need for a reservation. We sat ourselves as the entrance signage instructed. After about 5 minutes someone saw us at our table and came over. The noise level was low. Outdoor seating overlooks a koi pond and the main swimming pool.
